Rule 01 Auxiliary Verb যুক্ত

Condition / usage	Example
➤ Auxiliary + not + (পরবর্তী word এর opposite word)	Aff: He is an honest man. Neg: He is not a dishonest man.

Rule 02 Auxiliary Verb বিহীন

Condition / usage	Example
➤ Sub + do/does/did + not + Opposite word	Aff: I like travelling. Neg: I don't hate travelling.

Rule 03 Only / Alone যুক্ত

Condition / usage	Example
➤ ব্যক্তি বুঝালে = none but ➤ বস্তু বুঝালে = nothing but ➤ সংখ্যা বুঝালে = not more than	Aff: Only he can do this. Neg: None but he can do this.

Rule 04 Every যুক্ত

Condition / usage	Example
➤ There is no + Every এর পরের Word + but + ……	Aff: Everyone hates a liar. Neg: There is no one but hates a liar.

Rule 05 As soon as / Scarcely had যুক্ত

Condition / usage	Example
➤ No sooner had + sub + V3 ... (কমা , এর পরিবর্তে than বসে)	Aff: As soon as the thief saw the police, he ran away. Neg: No sooner had the thief seen the police than he ran away.

Rule 06 Must / can / have to / has to

Condition / usage	Example
➤ এদের পরিবর্তে Can't but অথবা can't help + V+ing বসে	Aff: We must obey our parents. Neg: We cannot but obey our parents.

Rule 07 Too….to

Condition / usage	Example
➤ so …….. that + sub + can't/couldn't + to এর পরবর্তী অংশ	Aff: He is too weak to walk. Neg: He is so weak that he can't walk.

Rule 08 Both…..and / …..and……

Condition / usage	Example
➤ Not only ……… but also	Aff: He is both brilliant and modest. Neg: He is not only brilliant but also modest.

Rule 09 As…….as

Condition / usage	Example
➤ Not less ……. than	Aff: Moshiur was as singer as Sami Yousuf. Neg: Moshiur was not less singer than Sami Yousuf.

Rule 10 Degree যুক্ত

Condition / usage	Example
➤ Degree এর positive form এ রুপান্তর করা	Aff: He is the best boy in the class. Neg: No other boy in the class is as good as he.
